L’Ouvrier Chef Appreciation Night: Nick auf der Mauer

 

5-course tasting menu ft. food from @PorchettaAndCo's @NickaufderMauer.

Earlier this year L'Ouvrier hostes their third dinner of a series featuring different chefs from all over the city, this night they featured Nick, the owner of Porchetta and Co. $35 for 5 courses, what a deal! Nothing fancy, fried chicken for the main, but man was it some good eats.

 

Cream of Tomato & Lobster Bisque, Tarragon Cream

 

Easily my favourite dish of the night. If the whole porchetta sandwich business doesn't work out, I see a future in perogies! So good!

Pork Belly and Perogie, Truffle Sour Cream, Cracklings

 

Open Faced Tuna Fish Sandwich, Tomato Sauce, Preserves

 

Fried Chicken, Mexican Cheddar Hush Puppies, Pickled Jalapenos

 

Maple Butter Tart, Rhubarb
